About Antonella
From the age of 16, I dedicated myself to giving private classes of support to the neighbors of the neighborhood, the daughters of the friends of mom and my cousins. I wanted to have my silver saved, that was the main reason. Over time I discovered that what most gratified me (what really pushed me to keep doing it) was not money, it was the fact of teaching. Today I am a student of astronomy, a science that I am passionately crazy since my childhood. I imagine myself in the future as a teacher of the UNSJ or any other institution, transmitting to my listeners all my knowledge with the same love and passion with which they were infused to me. I am a workshop for popular education in a ong and I raise the banners of the great Paulo Freire, who dared to question the mechanisms of indoctrination rather than teaching of the imperialist state. I believe with fervor in the capacity of each human being to question themselves, to wonder and to learn.

I like teaching with the pedagogy of fun. I seek to teach my students to think and question, to understand mathematics as a fruitful and incredibly powerful means to understand the world and not as an abstract, useless and tedious thing. For me it is fundamental to form a bond of trust with my students. I know that I learn from them as much as they do from me. I believe about an empathetic, sensorial and unstructured teaching that is both responsible and dedicated, too.
