About Vimal
I am an astronomer by profession. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Glasgow in the UK and my Ph.D. from the Ohio State University in the US. I was employed as a postdoctoral researcher in the UK and South Africa. I recently moved to Bangalore, and am exploring teaching opportunities as teaching is my passion.

I offer individual one-to-one teaching. I aim to teach students individually with a lesson plan that is tailored to the individual learning needs of each student. Unlike classroom teaching, individual teaching can be targetted to maximise the strengths and address the weaknesses of each individual student.
In my view, the aims of education must go much beyond the confines of marks and grades. Education is about gaining knowledge, learning about the world around us and learning to question.
