About Kathleen

Sometimes I find that the hardest part of learning French is simply the rhythm of the spoken word. My method emphasizes consistent feedback to ensure your pronunciation remains accurate during daily practice. I provide recorded pronunciation drills so you can continue your study independently after our time ends. Because I have 5 years of experience in language pedagogy, I can adjust the difficulty level to match your current progress.

About the lesson

Growing up with an appreciation for multiple linguistic systems shaped my identity as a polyglot educator. I hold a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from NYU and have completed formal training at the Sorbonne and in Salamanca.

My background allows me to assist working professionals and hobbyists who want to master French accent and intonation. I enjoy working with students who are currently exploring a third language, as the multilingual student is my favorite to mentor. My sessions focus on reading comprehension, listening practice, and exam preparation for the DELF and DALF.

I bring 5 years of experience to every interaction, ensuring that your learning process remains both structured and precise. I truly enjoy seeing my students connect with new cultures through the language they study.
