About Jorna
I graduated with a BSc in psychology and cognitive neuroscience with the hopes of changing the world...one brain at a time. I’ve experience in tutoring, working with young adults, teens and infants and even with c-level executives (I’m currently an account executive for a software firm). I run empowerment classes and help with self development and offer 1:1 coaching (education and career guidance).

I like to assess each individual to understand their learning style and apply the teaching method that works best and efficiently for them. I’m a firm believer of LEARNING and not just ‘DOING’. I like to discuss concepts, situation, scenarios or real life examples (if relevant) when teaching a topic in order for the individual to attach a memory to the subject in order to recall information more confidently and clearly. I like to take a cognitive approach and teach students how to take notes and revise effectively.
