About Sahla
I am a gap year student aiming to restart my studies in Veterinary Medicine in September 2027.
I'm currently on a gap year, preparing to start veterinary medicine in September 2027, so the sciences are not just something I studied, they are what I'm building my future on.
I know first-hand how demanding these subjects can be, and how much difference clear explanations and the right strategy can make. My aim is to help you understand your subjects properly, build confidence, and achieve the grades you are capable of.
I'm friendly, attentive and committed. I take the time to understand how you learn, and I pay close attention to where you are getting stuck so we can fix it together. You can expect well-prepared lessons, honest feedback and consistent support.
I'm also passionate about helping students with their university applications, particularly for competitive courses such as veterinary medicine, medicine and the biological sciences.
Outside of studying, I love Muay Thai, reading and anything active. I believe discipline and consistency are key to success, both in training and in exams, and I bring that approach to every lesson.

I achieved AAA at A-Level in Biology, Maths and Chemistry, and I know what it takes to get there. My lessons are built around understanding rather than memorising, so you learn why things work and can handle questions you've never seen before.
How I teach:
Start with where you are: In the first lesson we pinpoint gaps and set clear goals, so no time is wasted on what you already know.
Break topics down simply: I explain tricky concepts step by step, using diagrams, real examples and plain language.
Exam-focused practice: We work through past paper questions together, and I show you how to structure answers and pick up marks examiners look for.
Active learning: You'll be doing the thinking in lessons, not just listening. I'll give you feedback as we go and fix mistakes straight away.
Revision strategies that work: I share the techniques and resources I used to get top grades, including how to plan your time and revise efficiently.
Lessons:
Typical length: 1 hour (a [90-minute] option is available for exam prep)
Format: in person in London / online / both
Lessons are tailored to you, and I can follow your school's exam board and topics.
