Hello! My name is Victoria, and I am a University of Guelph student pursuing the Arts and Science program with a special interest in biology and sociology. I was a top student while in high school and continue to have the same commitment to learning, growth, and professionalism within my university studies. My tutoring style is hands-on, personalized, and practical. I use real-life examples coupled with tried-and-tested methods to render the subject more accessible and enjoyable. We then apply what we learned through practice, with personalized feedback and instructions to reinforce learning. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to accommodate the pace and needs of each student while presenting a supportive and upbeat environment. I don't just make students do homework — I work towards instilling confidence over the long term and a firm foundation in skills. I teach a variety of students, from young students building basic reading and writing skills to high school students requiring help with essays, creative writing, or thesis projects. Regardless of level, I aim to make English functional, accessible, and enjoyable!
