About Leona

Spending 9 years performing on stage and in the studio has shaped how I teach. I am a musician first.

My Bachelor of Music from the Australian National Academy of Music informs every technical choice I make. Whether we focus on power chords, fingerpicking, grade exam prep, or reading sheet music, I prioritize clarity. We will also tackle chord transitions, strumming patterns, scales and modes, barre chords, and electric technique.

Music theory is the foundation of our work together. I am a focused teacher who values tangible results.

About the lesson

Pacing matters more than speed during our time together. You should expect to struggle a bit because that is how real growth happens.

I keep sessions practical and musical so progress is something you can hear right away. Drawing on my conservatory background, I ensure every concept serves your playing goals. We examine how your hands move to avoid bad habits while building dexterity.

I provide immediate feedback on your posture and tone quality. We refine your sound until it resonates with accuracy. It is just about getting better.
