About Ashley
"I spent a decade working in hedge funds where numbers governed every daily decision. Honestly, I find explaining these concepts to students more rewarding than adjusting trading algorithms.
My Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago informs how I frame coordinate geometry and trigonometry. I have 6 years of experience helping teens prepare for high-stakes exam prep and difficult homework tasks. I enjoy showing students that arithmetic and number sense are skills they can sharpen through consistent practice.
Sometimes a simple change in perspective is all it takes to solve a geometry proof. I keep things methodical and real-world oriented. I really like seeing students gain confidence in their problem-solving strategies."
