About Richie
I am an architecture student at Cardiff University with a passion for music. I was the former Head of Choir at King Edward's School, Witley and have sung at numerous churches and cathedrals across England, Venice and Rome e.g. the Vatican, San Marco Venice and Westminster Cathedral London, and I was also auditioned and welcomed to sing for Trinity College Choir, Cambridge. As a historically informed performance lover, I did my IB HL music recital totally on baroque style with original instruments e.g. harpsichord and baroque cello and achieved a top grade 7, and my Extended Essay on Gesualdo's Tenebrae Responses was also one mark below the full mark. I offer lessons on harpsichord, cello, voice, guitar, piano and theory up to ABRSM grade 8 standard.

I believe music comes from within and with enjoyment. Therefore, my aim of teaching is not only to pass exams but also to encourage a love for music, to spark an interest in life. I base my method of teaching on an interactive term and student-centred discussions, and will always start off with something that the student enjoys and gradually build a rounded systematic knowledge that provokes self-learning in the long term. I offer lessons on harpsichord, cello, voice, guitar, piano and theory up to ABRSM grade 8 standard.
