About Adel

I combine practical experience in financial markets, financial services, software development, and quantitative analysis with an MBA from Babson College. For nearly a decade, I have used mathematics, statistics, probability, and structured problem-solving to evaluate markets, manage risk, build indicators, and develop analytical tools. I teach applied mathematics by connecting formulas to clear, real-world examples. My goal is to help students understand the reasoning behind each method so they can solve problems independently in mathematics, statistics, quantitative methods, and finance.

About the lesson

Lessons are built around your current level, course requirements, and goals. We begin by identifying gaps, then work through concepts step by step using clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice.

A typical lesson includes:

• a quick review of prerequisite skills;
• a clear explanation of the new concept;
• worked examples connected to finance or real-world data when useful;
• guided problems where you explain your reasoning;
• a short practice plan for the next session.

Topics can include arithmetic, algebra, probability, descriptive statistics, distributions, expected value, variance, data interpretation, risk/reward calculations, and quantitative methods. You may bring homework, exam-preparation questions, or applied finance problems. I focus on understanding why a method works, choosing the right approach, checking results, and building a repeatable problem-solving process instead of memorizing formulas.

What impressed me most, though, is how relatable and easygoing he is. He has an incredible depth of knowledge, yet he explains things in a way that makes you feel comfortable asking questions and actually wanting to learn more.
