About Abi
I'm Abi, an experienced tutor who wants to help YOU excel in English and English-related subjects! I loved English in high school, so much so that I am now completing a Bachelor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Melbourne. I am passionate about helping any student shine in their English classes, as I truly believe that every student has potential to grow their skills into something they're proud of. I have 3+ years of English tutoring experience, with a range of students from years Prep to 12.

I am a fully remote tutor, offering online lessons of any length you require. I can help with English from levels Prep to Year 12 English and English Language, and cater my lessons to the individual student - meaning that your English tutoring needs will be listened to and accounted for in my lessons! My typical lesson length is 1 hour, but this is dependant on student needs.
I love incorporating educational games into my lessons, as extensive studies have shown that students of any age learn quicker and retain more information when their lessons encourage dopamine release - a neurotransmitter that contributes to improved memory and the formation of meaningful connections with the lesson content.
I take all students willing and ready to learn, but have a specific passion for tutoring neurodiverse students. I have extensive experience tutoring with and experiencing neurodiversity, and have strategies to help these students shine.
