About Taliesin

I am a postgraduate medical student at the ANU. I have a first-class honours degree in molecular pharmacology, and I also majored in biochemistry. I have earned 9 scholarships over my undergraduate degree for academic achievement and would love to share the knowledge that I have accumulated. Additionally, I had to sit the GAMSAT (top 5% of my sitting) and the medical interview process and would be happy to help anyone trying to overcome these significant barriers to entry into medical school.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology revolves around determining where a student is struggling and focussing on these problems. I also think it is important to learn about how a student learns best. I also like to apply evidence-based learning techniques to my study regimen. Depending on how much a student is willing to put into a subject these techniques might include spaced repetition learning, active recall, question writing and teaching a student to teach (the ultimate learning technique).
