About ANTONY

Hello LEARNERS!

My name is Antony Muthui. I am a passionate Mathematics and Physics teacher based in Mombasa, Kenya. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Science with majors in Physics and Mathematics, and I have 6 years of experience teaching high school students (Forms 1 to 4).

I chose to become a teacher because I genuinely love Mathematics and Physics, and I believe every student can excel in these subjects with the right guidance. I want to help you remove the fear many students have about these subjects and replace it with confidence, understanding, and even enjoyment.

I teach not just to cover the syllabus, but to equip you with problem-solving skills that will help you in preparing for final exams and in life beyond school.

My lessons are clear, practical, interactive, and patient. I take time to make sure every student understands before we move forward.

About the lesson

I use a student-centered approach that combines clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive problem-solving.

I simplify complex concepts in Mathematics and Physics using diagrams, practical demonstrations, and step-by-step methods.

My lessons are highly engaging with regular practice exercises, quizzes, and personalized feedback to ensure every student masters the topic.

Typical length of my standard lesson lasts 40 to 80 minutes, depending on the topic and student needs.

Longer sessions (up to 2 hours) are available for intensive revision or exam preparation.
I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Science (Major in Physics and Mathematics) from University of Nairobi.

I have 6 years of teaching experience at high school level, successfully preparing students for national examinations in Kenya.

My lessons are designed for high school students (Forms 1 to 4 / Grades 9 to 12), typically aged 13 to 19 years. I teach both the Kenyan 8-4-4 curriculum CBE and prepare students for KCSE examinations in Mathematics and Physics.
