About Antonia

Hi! My name is Antonia, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I enjoy helping students feel confident and comfortable when learning Spanish or English through relaxed, conversation-based classes. I am patient, attentive, and adaptable, creating a safe space where students can practice at their own pace. My goal is to make learning natural, enjoyable, and stress-free, whether you want to improve conversation, prepare for travel, or use the language in everyday life.

About the lesson

I use a student-centered, calm, and conversational approach. Lessons focus on speaking and understanding Spanish and English naturally, using real-life topics. I correct gently and adapt to each student’s pace and goals, creating a safe and relaxed environment. My priority is helping students feel confident without pressure
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation to check in and get comfortable. Most of the class is dedicated to conversation and practice on a topic chosen with the student, such as daily life, travel, hobbies, or personal interests. At the end, I give gentle corrections, tips, and feedback, and I may suggest a small, optional practice activity to do until the next lesson.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, attentiveness, and empathy. I create a safe space for students who feel nervous or lack confidence when speaking. My calm approach makes learning enjoyable and stress-free, and I adapt lessons to each student’s personality and goals, ensuring that learning feels natural and motivating.
My lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate students of Spanish or English, especially those who want to improve conversation skills, prepare for travel, or communicate in everyday life.
