About Emma
I live in South London and have an undergraduate degree. I have worked as a Teacher Assistant for almost a year.
My motivation to teach stems from my view that the young are so important for our future, having grown up amongst people of differing backgrounds, one of the main things I have learnt is that education is key and knowledge is a powerful tool. My desired stage to teach is Primary level, I want to make young children feel confident in the best and most productive way and having the opportunity to help them believe in themselves is something I'd be honored to do. As a teacher, I would bring my empathetic and honest nature to my classes. I am kind and warm-hearted and want to be a figure pupils can look up to and listen to with confidence. I feel that once they know me and I know them, I can help them to progress and inspire them to want to learn, teaching them that education is fun, interesting and incredibly valuable and that I am there every step of the way.
