About Lauren
I am an Anthropology and English Literature student about to complete my degree. I have tutored primary-aged children as part of my school's outreach, as well as GCSE students, who have gone on to achieve highly (e.g., helped a History GCSE student raise her grade from a B to an A*).
I excelled in my own studies at secondary school, and am excited to help other students achieve their best.

When tutoring, I like to tailor my teaching methods to the needs of each student. Not only does this entail assessing their knowledge and skill level in the particular subject, but also ascertaining which learning methods work best for them.
I am prepared to provide a variety of learning materials accordingly, whether it be more visual-based resources, audio files, interactive exercises, or reading assignments.

Lauren tutored me for my English Literature, English Language and History GCSEs last year. She was really friendly and helpful, and even made me a study pack when I was struggling with source analysis (in History). Since she had done the same exams as me, she prepared me really well for what to expect and how to manage my time. I finished my GCSEs with an 9 in History, a 9 in English Literature and a 9 in English Language!!
