I’m an experienced animation educator and industry professional with a passion for helping others discover the creative and technical joy of bringing ideas to life through movement. Having spent many years teaching and mentoring emerging artists, I’ve seen how personalised, supportive guidance can transform confidence and skill. I teach because I believe animation is more than software or technique—it’s a form of storytelling and self-expression. My goal is to share industry knowledge in a way that’s clear, practical, and inspiring, empowering each student to develop their own artistic voice and succeed in the competitive world of animation, VFX, and games.

1. Teaching Philosophy - As a professional animation lecturer and industry practitioner, I take a student-centred approach to teaching. Every lesson is adapted to your individual goals, skills and creative interests—whether that’s character animation, creature FX, lighting, or game cinematics. I focus on developing both technical ability and artistic intent, helping you understand not only how to animate, but why creative choices matter. My aim is to make learning animation accessible, structured and inspiring, whatever your experience level.
2. Lesson Structure & Delivery - Lessons are objective-oriented, blending theory with practical examples in Maya, Unreal Engine 5, Houdini, and Adobe After Effects. Each class includes step-by-step demonstrations, real production scenarios, and guidance through animation workflows used in film, VFX, and games. I provide scene files, breakdowns, and supporting videos, so you can continue learning at your own pace. Sessions are engaging, feedback-driven, and focused on industry-level standards and portfolio development.
3. Who These Lessons Are For - Ideal for animation students, VFX artists, game designers, or anyone passionate about creating moving images. Whether you’re preparing a showreel, exploring rigging and movement, or mastering cinematic storytelling, I’ll help you strengthen your workflow and creative confidence.
