I am a student studying physics at St. Andrews having finished school at Sir John Lawes. I have two years tutoring experience at GCSE but very frequently helped members of my own year understand A level content they were struggling with.

It is my belief that the best way to learn maths is not to memorise a different method for approaching each type of problem but to develop an understanding of the maths behind what's going on. This gives students much more confidence with the material and prepares them in the eventuality that the exam throws up a question they have not been taught a method to solve before.
