About Umair
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with First Class Honours and was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence. I completed my Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence with Distinction and received the Dean’s Award of the Year. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, specialising in advanced medical imaging and intelligent healthcare systems.
My expertise lies in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Generative AI (GANs and Diffusion Models), privacy-preserving AI systems, and large-scale data processing using PySpark. I combine strong academic research with practical, real-world AI development.
Alongside my research, I teach and mentor students and professionals in AI from foundational concepts to advanced model design and deployment. My approach focuses on clarity, mathematical intuition, and hands-on implementation to ensure deep understanding and real-world capability.
