I currently teach yr 10 and 11 - component 1-3 - Human Lifespan Development, Health and Social Care Service and Values and Health and Wellbeing. For year 12-13 examined units 1 - Lifespan Development and Unit 4 - Research in Health and Social Care and coursework based units - Unit 5, 10, 11 and 19. Lessons are based on the BTEC 2016 specification and have strong links to coursework and assignments. Students receive lots of advice in terms of guidance sheets which help students to structure and organise their thoughts to aid achievement. I have also taught the BTEC 2010 specification previously if students need help with these units also.

Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Denise was my tutor in sixth form, she is honestly amazing and because of her i achieved very high grades. I got a distinction for most of my modules in health and social care. Her way of teaching is very unique and extremely helpful. I would recommend anyone who is struggling to book a session with her it's so worth it.
I was so lucky to have Denise as a tutor in college. She not only built my academic performance but also helped with my self confidence. She is very patient and treats every student individually and caters to their preferred learning method. I can honestly say, I would have never passed my Health and Social Care Level 3 if not for her. Denise is also very active, always that tutor that’s always energetic and gets you in the mood to learn. If you’re looking for someone who’s not just a tutor, someone who is dedicated to passing on knowledge and will go the extra mile for you, Denise is the perfect person.
Denise is highly committed to student development. Her students normally excel beyond their own beliefs,
I am more than pleased to have the opportunity to recommend Denise for the role of teacher/lecturer/ course manager. I was honored to work alongside Denise for 3 years on the Health and Social Care team at Newham College of Further Education. Denise was always an outstanding course team leader/ member of our team, and I have always been impressed by her professionalism and admirable personal qualities.
As a CTL / lecturer, Denise constantly demonstrated her exceptional analytical skills and extensive knowledge of best teaching practices.
She has one of the best personalities I have ever had the joy of working with. She is a fun-loving and friendly individual who always treats everyone in an amicable and welcoming manner.
Having witnessed her long track-record of success and admirable character, I assure you that she will more than excel in the role. I am confident she will become an invaluable addition to your team. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding her character or past work.
I worked with Denise in a professional capacity for 2 years within an inner city college. Denise is an excellent teacher with the ability to adapt her teaching methods to suits the individual students. She has a depth of knowledge on many topics within the social care field. This sector area provides her with many transferable skills across a broad range of specialisms. She is therefore adaptable to tutor in a variety of subjects. I have witnessed her provide effective support for many students who were initially demotivated and struggling. With the support and dedication of denise as a teacher these students thrived and exceeded their expected grades. I would highly recommend her as a tutor for short term or long term support. You will not be disappointed.
