About Alicia

With over 10 years of experience teaching American English, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of students achieve their speaking and pronunciation goals.

I hold a BA in English Literature from McGill University, I'm a graduate of Studio 58's Professional Acting Program and have trained with some of the top voice, speech and singing teachers in the world.

I use the most up to date and effective techniques to help my students master American English and speak with confidence. My students describe me as professional, kind, precise and passionate.

About the lesson

Would you like to refine and strengthen your American accent to speak naturally and fluently in any circumstance?

Whether you are an actor expanding their range, or learning English as a second language I can help you reach your goals.

In your first lesson I'll assess your goals and needs with you and create a plan and roadmap to success. I'll help you identify the sounds to adjust and give you practical, technical ways to make changes. You'll learn optimal practice techniques and receive support materials to help you outside of your lessons. In your one to one lessons with me I'll give you detailed feedback and support to confidently make new sounds.

STUDENTS COME TO ME FOR:
Students work with me on public speaking presentations, theatre and film auditions, and on developing confidence and joy in day to day expression.

ABOUT ME:
Over the last ten (10) years I've taught hundreds of students from around the world to speak with an American accent. I'm a professionally trained actress with deep experience in voice and speech. I trained with some of the top voice coaches in North America including David Smukler, and premier American accent coach Rachel Smith and offer some of the most up to date and effective training available.
