About Purnima

I am a former corporate program manager with experience across global tech and top-tier financial institutions, including Amazon (NY), Goldman Sachs (HQ in NY), and JPMorgan. Over the course of my career, I have switched roles, countries, companies (sometimes - all at once!), despite little support and immense network pushback, navigated complex matrix organizations and landed roles on industry-flagship programs beyond my title, led cross-functional execution for complex initiatives, and built high-trust professional networks from scratch across global markets.

Having interviewed firsthand with leading companies, such as Google, Meta, Stripe, Microsoft, Spotify, Uber, and Amazon, I have experienced every stage of the hiring pipeline: from cold outreach and recruiter screens to HQ loop interviews, rejections, offer negotiations, and internal mobility transitions.

Today, I mentor ambitious professionals (entry-level, mid-career and a couple of senior execs) to help them demystify corporate systems, negotiate top offers, and navigate high-stakes workplace dynamics with confidence. I also hold a special affinity for uplifting women through my experience, having successfully coached several corporate women in the past and seen the difference it makes to their lives and confidence firsthand!

Purnima helped me prepare for my US student visa interview at very short notice. I received a rejection for my F1 visa at my first attempt.. so my parents and I were very anxious before my second try.. since I needed the visa urgently to travel and join the course the next week. Everything else before joining was already taken care of so this pending interview was a big source of stress as it could break those plans if it went badly again. Purnima helped me prepare for the visa officer interview... gave me helpful tips on how to explain my previous rejection and communicate my points confidently, especially since I am shy and reserved.
