About Oscar

I am a researcher and teacher (Universidad Nacional and Universidad el Bosque) passionate about teaching science to children and adolescents based on innovative methodologies and with the highest academic and pedagogical level.

EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING WITH CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: More than 10 years of experience. I am the founder and general coordinator of CUORE Education ((concealed information) which is specialized in teaching science to children and adolescents based on "learning from experience".
SUBJECTS THAT ARE INTEGRATED IN THE COURSES WE OFFER: Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Geology among others.

EXPERIENCE IN UNIVERSITY TEACHING: 5 years.
SUBJECTS IN WHICH I SPECIALIZE: Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics (general, cytogenetics and molecular genetics including epigenetics), Cell Signaling, Immunology, Animal Physiology, Neurophysiology.
CAREERS I HAVE TEACHED: Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Veterinary Medicine and Surgical Instrumentation.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: Expression and purification of recombinant proteins, Cancer, Stem cells, Hormonal regulation and Cell signaling (especially in Growth Factors). I was a young researcher (MinCiencias).

Perfect! Oscar es el profe de mi hija de 8 años, que es una niña apasionada por la ciencia. El trabajo que están desarrollando es maravilloso, Oscar es amable, comprensivo, receptivo y maneja con destreza y conocimiento los temas que trabajan y, no solo eso, tiene varias herramientas didácticas que hacen que mi hija mantenga el interés, cosa que no es fácil con los niños. Es un profesor estupendo (se le nota la pasión de enseñar), tiene la habilidad de identificar con facilidad las necesidades y habilidades de sus estudiantes y desarrollar un proceso adecuado. Mi hija adora su clase y ha aprendido un montón. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Óscar me enseñó bioquímica durante casi 6 meses. Es un profesor muy organizado y comprometido, no sólo me enseñó las bases de la Bioquímica, sino que inculcó en mí el interés por el tema, de manera que sigo usando herramientas que él me compartió y me atrevo a leer artículos que entiendo gracias a este curso.
