About Oghogho Abigail
As a graduate from the University of Toronto with a degree in Neuroscience, Psychology and French, I have had a lot of experience learning about the basics of psychology and more complex topics such as Cognitive Psychology, Personality Psychology, the Psychology of Gender Roles etc. I have experience writing academic papers in this area, performing research and I take great measures to find applications for this material in popular contexts such as depictions of mental health in the media. I would love to share my knowledge of psychology along with the biological underpinnings of it with you!

When I'm helping someone learn, I like to start by covering what my student already understands. Sometimes that can mean getting down to the basics of a topic and progressively coming to the specific topic they don't understand, and other times this may include exploring resources that will give them a new perspective on a topic they are currently struggling with.
I also believe asking questions is a great way to help an individual learn, so I like to allow students an opportunity to try something on their own and ask specific questions before I try to explain anything to them. I find that this promotes problem-solving and challenges them to sit with the things they don't understand.
