About Yatziri
Hi, my name is Yatziri Avila. I'm a UC Merced Student. Im currently a 4th year majoring in Psychology. I am bilingual. I understand and can communicate in both English and Spanish. Although Psychology is something I want to pursue as a career, teaching has always been something I also wanted to pursue. Spanish is such an amazing language and I would love to help you all become fluent.

The way I would approach students and my lessons would first be by asking them how fluent are they in Spanish. What are they struggling with. A typical lesson plan to teach them Spanish would be going over basic vocabulary words, then reading a text and finally understanding what they read and have them write a small summary in Spanish about what they understood. What sets me apart from other tutors is being fluent in Spanish. Understanding English and Spanish and being very motivated to teach the students. The lessons would be for middle schoolers and high school students.
