About Maia
Hi I'm Maia, obtaining all 9s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A Level. At A Level I took Mathematics, English Literature, Spanish and Latin, and now am studying Spanish and Latin at UCL.
I have been tutoring for a few years with experience particularly in all my A-Level subjects at all levels, as well as experience teaching GCSE Science and Geography. I always work directly with the students to identify their weakest areas, and plan the lessons accordingly. Each lesson will be individually planned and specialised, using appropriate resources and an engaging range of exercises to test their knowledge. Lessons will be conducted online which I have been doing for the past two years, and will allow for greater flexibility of lesson times. Depending on the subject, lessons will be a combination of teacher led explanations and worked examples, past paper questions, essay planning and writing and interactive analysis.
