About Nathan
I have been tutoring students in math for over 10 years and taught Algebra 1 for four of those years. I am currently a full-time math and test prep tutor in Chicago and tutor 15 students on a weekly basis.

My biggest focus in the beginning is building a relationship with the student. I want the student to feel comfortable and confident in my work. After an early diagnostic, I'll tailor my instruction to the student's needs. I'm a strong believer in conceptual understanding instead of thousands of practice problems.
