About Declan

My teaching approach is nurturing and personalized, focusing on making math both clear and enjoyable. About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I specialize in helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable parts. Together, we work on writing coherent mathematical arguments that flow logically and make sense. I also guide students on how to present their solutions effectively, whether in writing or verbally.

My experience includes supporting university students with essays, research papers, and presentations. I know how challenging it can be to translate intricate math into clear explanations, and I’m here to make that easier. Each session is tailored to your needs, ensuring you build strong skills in both understanding and communication. My goal is to help you not only solve problems but also articulate your reasoning confidently. With practice, clarity comes naturally. I love seeing students gain confidence as they learn to express mathematical ideas with precision.
