About Aishwarya
I hold a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Delaware and have over four years of professional experience in software development, IT support, and cybersecurity — including two years as a Java Full Stack Developer at Tata Consultancy Services, one of the world's largest IT companies.
I currently work in IT at a University of Delaware-affiliated school, where I support staff and students with real technical challenges every day. I also hold a CompTIA certification and have hands-on experience with industry tools including Python, Splunk, AWS, Java, JavaScript, and Angular.
Throughout my career I have mentored junior developers, explained complex systems to non-technical stakeholders, and delivered results in fast-paced professional environments. Teaching has always been a natural part of how I work — I genuinely enjoy breaking things down until they make sense.
My academic background combined with real industry experience means I don't just teach theory. I teach the way things actually work in practice, which makes a real difference when students are preparing for exams, certifications, or their first role in tech.

My approach starts with one simple question: where are you stuck? Before diving into any topic, I take the first few minutes of every session to understand what's confusing you, what you've already tried, and what your actual goal is — whether that's passing an exam, finishing a project, landing a job, or just finally understanding something that never made sense.
A typical lesson with me looks like this: we diagnose the gap first, then I explain the concept in plain language with a real-world example, then we work through it together hands-on. I don't lecture — I build understanding step by step and check in constantly. If something isn't clicking, we try a different angle until it does.
What sets me apart is that I bring real industry experience into every session. I've worked as a Java Full Stack Developer at a global tech firm, built AI-integrated applications, automated cybersecurity workflows, and currently support IT systems at a school daily. I know what employers actually expect and what professors are really testing — and I teach with that context in mind.
I work best with college and university students taking introductory to intermediate courses in computer science, cybersecurity, networking, or software development. I also tutor working professionals preparing for CompTIA or other IT certifications, and beginners curious about breaking into tech with no prior background.
