About Tim
My name is Tim Rinkel and I am an ESL teacher who has over a decade of experience teaching English as a second language from kindergarten students to adults. I have taught a wide range of classes from 50 students to 1 on 1 tutoring. I possess a Bachelor's degree in the Arts and Sciences and TESOL certification.

I believe a successful teacher should be adaptable to a particular student's needs. Any given style may work with one student but not with another one. Participation on the student's side is essential for him/her to grasp the material being taught. To achieve this, I rely on hand's on activities, role-playing and practical use of language. I generally use a personal approach which leads to a relaxing learning environment.
