About Harrison
Harrison Knostman, a Colorado native, began training at Studio West Dance Center when he was three years old. He taught and danced at SWDC through high school and came to perform works by Crystal Pite, Barak Marshall, and Ida Saki--among many other accomplished choreographers and artists. Harrison is also proud to say he is a YoungArts finalist in modern/contemporary dance and is a college scholarship recipient from the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation. After high school, Harrison furthered his education at The Juilliard School. Here Harrison trained and was educated in ballet, modern, and contemporary dance techniques at a world-class level till he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2022. Post graduation, Harrison debuted as a professional dancer in Isreal performing with Complexions Contemporary Ballet throughout the company’s 28th season. Harrison is freelancing in NYC to explore and practice additional art disciplines to benefit his artistry and career. In the future, Harrison aspires to pursue his dream of dancing with professional companies worldwide and educating dancers about the beautiful art form he loves dearly.
