About Shrey
I am a PhD researcher in Obesity Medicine with a strong academic background in nutrition, biology and health sciences. I am particularly interested in how diet, metabolism and health interact, and how nutrition can be used to better understand and support people with different health conditions. I enjoy the subject because it sits between science and real-world impact: it involves biology, physiology, behaviour and practical decision-making. Biology and nutrition are subjects I genuinely care about, and I enjoy helping others understand why they matter beyond the textbook.

As someone who has tutored several students in Biology and Nutrition, I take a proactive and personalised approach to lessons. I begin by understanding what each student feels they need additional support with, whether that is building confidence, improving subject knowledge, preparing for exams or working through specific topics. My lessons are structured around the student’s individual needs and goals, with clear explanations and time for questions. I can support learners of all ages in Nutrition, and Biology students up to A-Level.

During the free 30-minute session, we can discuss your current needs, goals and preferred way of learning. This may include academic support in Biology or Nutrition, exam preparation, coursework help, or practical nutrition goals such as understanding weight management, improving food choices, or building confidence with nutrition concepts. I will use this first session to understand what you want to achieve and explain how future lessons can be structured around your aims.
