About Cristina

Hola, I'm Cristina – a London-based yoga teacher originally from Spain.

Yoga found me during a life-changing trip to Chile, and it’s been a guiding force ever since. My love for travel and connection led me to the sacred city of Rishikesh, India – the birthplace of yoga – where I trained as a teacher by the Ganges River, surrounded by deep tradition and spiritual energy. That journey lives in every class I teach.

I share the practices of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga, both rooted in classical tradition. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced yogi, my classes are designed to meet you where you are. I offer gentle, progressive sequences, with plenty of options and modifications, so your practice feels safe, empowering, and personal.

Each class begins with a guided relaxation to help you settle in and let go of stress. From there, we flow through a full-body practice—stretching from fingertips to toes, building strength, and ending in stillness. My intention is to help you find balance between effort and ease, strength and softness.

In my classes, you’ll have space to:
Release tension in the body, especially in shoulders, neck, hips, and legs
Move mindfully and breathe deeply
Build strength and flexibility at your own pace
Reconnect with your body and the present moment
Feel lighter, clearer, and more centered

With nearly 15 years of teaching experience, I offer individual guidance and gentle hands-on support (if welcomed), plus time after class for breathwork, questions, and shared reflection.

Classes are taught in Spanish, so you can enjoy a moving meditation while also connecting with the language—perfect for native speakers or learners alike.

My classes combine the strength and flow of Ashtanga Vinyasa with the alignment and precision of Iyengar yoga. They’re designed to be accessible to all levels – whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years.

Each class begins with a guided relaxation to help you release tension and arrive in the present moment. From there, we move through a full-body sequence that builds strength, improves flexibility, and helps you stretch deeply – from fingertips to toes.

The practice is gentle, progressive, and mindful, with plenty of options and modifications so you can work at your own pace. My focus is on helping you move safely, with intention, and always with care for your body.

You'll learn how to adjust postures to suit your needs and feel supported with one-to-one feedback and guidance throughout. Classes end with calming breathwork or a short meditation, leaving you relaxed, grounded, and refreshed.

In each session, you can expect to:
· Let go of daily stress
· Breathe deeply and move mindfully
· Release tension in shoulders, neck, hips, and legs
· Build strength and stability
· Deepen your flexibility safely
· Feel lighter and more present

  • What age did you start playing sport?

    I started moving my body with joy at the age of 8. I loved running, swimming, and later fell in love with dance. As a teenager, I joined a gym and discovered how good it felt to be strong and active. Movement has been a constant in my life—something that always brought me balance, clarity, and connection to myself.
  • What are your favourite sports – at any level?

    My heart belongs to yoga. It’s not just a practice for me—it’s a way of life. I practice six days a week and teach every day. Yoga gives me everything: strength, stillness, resilience, and grace. It’s my anchor and my joy.
  • What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

    My deepest motivation comes from seeing how yoga transforms lives—including my own. I'm passionate about supporting my students, helping them feel more at home in their bodies and minds, and sharing the timeless tools yoga offers for peace, happiness, and long-lasting wellbeing.
  • Do you have a sporting achievement you’re particularly proud of?

    Yes—my daily yoga practice for over 14 years. No medals, no finish lines—just quiet, steady dedication. It's taught me to show up for myself with love and patience, every single day.
  • How have your achievements and challenges shaped you?

    They’ve made me softer, stronger, and more grounded. Through discipline, healthy choices, and consistency, I’ve learned that real transformation doesn’t happen overnight—it’s built slowly, with heart and humility.
  • If you could go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would it be?

    Rafa Nadal. His strength, grace, and humility inspire me deeply. I’d ask him how he stays mentally centered through pressure, and what keeps him connected to his purpose through all the highs and lows.
  • How do you help others stay motivated?

    By walking the path with them. I lead with love, offer guidance tailored to each person, and create a safe, welcoming space where they can grow at their own pace. I believe in gentle encouragement and showing that progress is personal and sacred.
  • What makes you a Superprof in sports?

    Because I love what I do—and I do it with my whole heart. Teaching yoga isn’t just my profession, it’s my calling. Rain or shine, I show up with love, presence, and the intention to help others feel better in their body, mind, and spirit.
