About Matt Fondse
I'm an AFDA Honors graduate with training in both theater and screen, as well as having a BA in Psychology. I am the 2020 winner of Best Actor for the 48 Hours Film Festival and the winner of the 2025 AFDA Awards for Best Supporting Actor. I trained with Stephanie van Niekerk, Andre Landzaat who was Lee Strasberg's protégé and at AFDA, specializing in theater techniques, improv and performed in both stage and screen productions in Johannesburg and Cape Town. With experience and expertise in Adler, Strasberg and Meisner's techniques, I guide and nurture actors to unlock their potential, realize dreams and give support throughout the acting journey.
