About Reem

I'm a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for helping everyone learn, develop confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I have completed three A-Levels and 11 GCSEs, including a Grade 9 in GCSE Arabic. I am fluent in both English and Arabic, and I offer tutoring in Maths for students from Year 1 to Year 8, and Arabic for all ages.

I have previous experience working with primary school children as both a playworker and a teaching assistant, where I developed strong communication, patience and problem-solving skills. These experiences taught me the importance of adapting my approach to suit each child's personality, abilities and learning style.

I believe that learning should be enjoyable, encouraging and rewarding. My aim is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves without feeling pressured or judged.

Whether your child needs extra support with schoolwork, help understanding difficult Maths topics or wants to develop their Arabic language skills, I am committed to providing engaging, personalised lessons that help them make real progress.

My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

My approach to tutoring is to create a friendly, supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence.

I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit their individual needs, abilities and learning pace. I like to break down difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps, using clear explanations, practical examples, interactive activities and practice questions to reinforce understanding. I also encourage students to think independently rather than simply memorising answers.

My lessons typically last 60 minutes, although I can offer 30-minute sessions for younger children or those who benefit from shorter lessons. I usually begin by reviewing previous learning, introduce or practise a topic, and finish with questions to check understanding and identify areas for improvement.

I have completed three A-Levels and achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Arabic. I am fluent in both English and Arabic and have previous experience working with primary school children as a playworker and teaching assistant. These experiences have helped me develop patience, communication skills and the ability to explain things clearly to younger learners.

I offer Maths tutoring for students in Years 1–8 (approximately ages 5–13). My Maths lessons cover primary school fundamentals through to Year 8 topics, including fractions, percentages, problem-solving and introductory algebra. My Arabic lessons are for all ages, focusing on reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary and conversational skills.

My main goal is to help every student feel more confident in their abilities, enjoy learning and make steady progress at their own pace.
