About Cam

With degrees in geophysics (B.S. 2018) and aerospace engineering (M.S. 2021), I have broad experience in advanced math and physics as well as STEM areas at-large. I've worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and served as lead data scientist for a start-up based in Boulder, CO.

I'm a firm believer that math and physics are not as difficult as they seem to most students. The problem is that there's no "one-size-fits-all" approach to teaching these subjects in a full classroom. My job is to teach in a way that makes sense to you, not the student sitting next to you.

Using math and physics to describe the world has always been fascinating to me, and I welcome the opportunity to share that interest while helping others learn.

My first goal in tutoring is to ensure that you learn what you need to. My second goal is to get you excited about what you are learning.

About the lesson

I leverage students' strengths and weaknesses to tailor my approach for each lesson, and I aim to build their confidence in understanding the material holistically while prioritizing core concepts.

My teaching style works best in one-on-ones and small group lessons. I describe my approach as focused while staying casual and conversational, and I take pride in explaining difficult concepts in simple and relatable terms.

I offer lessons for high-school and undergraduate students in various areas of math, physics, and earth sciences. I am also open to teaching more specialized topics and professional skills as they relate to careers in STEM. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to discuss more!
