About Tayara
I have been teaching violin for 14 years, guiding students of all ages—from children taking their first lessons to college students and working professionals pursuing advanced goals. My teaching philosophy centres on patience, encouragement, and personalising lessons to fit each student’s learning style. I focus on developing strong technical skills, sight-reading, music theory, and expressive performance.
Over the 14 years, I have taught over 200 students, many of whom have performed successfully in recitals, competitions, and concerts. My lessons blend structured practice with creative exercises, making learning enjoyable, motivating, and effective. I aim to help students grow as confident, skilled musicians while fostering a lifelong passion for the violin.

My teaching methodology combines compassion, clear communication, and encouragement to provide lessons that are student-centred, engaging, and effective. I understand that learning the violin requires patience, focus, and confidence, so I tailor lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style.
I provide step-by-step instruction, demonstrations, and creative exercises, helping students develop technical skills, musicality, and self-expression. I encourage questions, exploration, and active participation, making lessons interactive, meaningful, and inspiring.
Being supportive is central to my approach. I celebrate achievements, provide constructive guidance, and help students overcome challenges while fostering confidence, independence, and creativity. Lessons balance technical skill, artistic expression, and personal growth.
In addition to violin, I teach other subjects using the same compassionate and communicative methodology, aiming to inspire curiosity, motivation, and a lifelong passion for learning and music.
