About Helen Sogo

I am a certified textile artist with experience in Adire/Batik making. I train children and adults and I focus more on practicals alongside theoretical lessons to aid further understanding. I ensure you creatively develop designs by yourself and play around with colors.

About the lesson

My teachings are basically practicals and demonstrations. You get to work alongside while the training is ongoing with constant assignments and assessments. I will also post some of your works on my social media handle to encourage your progress.

Perfect! I have been having a series of Adire lessons with Helen, who is an Adire master (her own work is absolutely amazing). Her prices are very good, and in just a few weeks, she has taught me so much! She is very good at explaining the methods, techniques and knows all the names and meanings of the traditional patterns, which I am really interested in. She is a kind and thoughtful teacher who teaches you at just the right pace that you need to learn well. I recommend Helen unreservedly, and I am so happy that I found her through Super Prof. She is a Super Prof personified!
