About Akuzike
I am an Actuarial Science and Data Science student at the University of Essex with a strong academic and practical foundation in economics and finance. I achieved an A in A Level Economics and an A in an EPQ focused on finance and engineering, demonstrating both analytical ability and applied understanding.
Beyond academics, I am an Asset Management Analyst at the Essex Equity Fund, where I gain direct exposure to financial markets, investment strategy, and economic analysis. I am also part of the leadership team within the university’s Economics and Actuarial Society.
I teach because I understand what it takes to succeed at GCSE and A Level, and I aim to help students not only improve their grades but develop a deeper, more confident understanding of economics.

My lessons are structured to build both strong theoretical understanding and real-world application of economics. I focus on simplifying complex concepts using clear frameworks, exam technique, and practical examples from finance and global markets to ensure students not only understand content but can apply it effectively in exams.
Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes and tailored to the student’s level, whether GCSE or A Level. I prioritise active learning through problem-solving, past paper practice, and targeted feedback to maximise grade improvement.
My lessons are ideal for students aiming to improve grades, strengthen exam technique, or develop a deeper, more practical understanding of economics.
