About Emily
I am a passionate performer with professional theater experience at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. I recently graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Psychology where I studied theater. While at Colorado College, I received a grant to study theater performance in London. During my time as a student, I performed in over 10 productions, took acting and theater classes, directed 3 shows, and was the artistic director of Theater Workshop, our student theater company. I have also had theatrical internships at Stages Theater Company and Pangea World Theater in Minneapolis. I am currently performing in Kensington Arts Theater's production of Guys and Dolls.

I believe curiosity is a key to effective acting. I will lead my students through various exercises, character discussions, monologue work, and scene work, all designed to spark curiosity and creativity about your character. For musical theater artists, I also love helping actors "act a song." My students will always have input in how they want their classes structured and what types of characters and scenes they want to explore. These classes are about you! A lesson with me is a great way to prepare a monologue or song for an audition, the perfect a way to gain confidence, explore an interest in the art of acting, or an excellent way to have fun!
