About Caleb

I am a sophomore Electrical Engineering student with extensive experience tutoring math and physics. Throughout high school, I tutored over 50 students and improved their test scores in math classes and standardized math tests significantly. I know the material I teach very well, having received straight As in every math and science class I have ever taken. I took Differential Equations as a senior in high school, as well as scoring a 5 on every AP Physics exam, and am on track to receive a Master’s degree in 3 years total with a perfect GPA. I have a strong hold on standardized testing math skills, with a 36 ACT to support, and I have strong communication skills, developed through my various leadership roles at school and in sports.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on building the skills necessary to tackle standardized tests.
A typical 60-minute lesson will consist of
- A short warm-up to gauge understanding of the day's skills
- Teaching a bit of content and an important test-taking skill
- Practice problems integrated in the lesson to aid understanding
- Timed practice to acclimate students to pacing of standardized tests
This proven approach has helped myself and my prior students to improve their scores by several points, allowing them a better profile in the eyes of colleges and scholarship committees.
