About Alison Kate

I have a B.A. in Communications and am TEFL/TESOL-certified. I teach English to children and adults online, and also teach in-person internationally, in both language schools and high school. I teach all areas of English—speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary—and also focus on real-life skills and everyday conversations, such as going to the bank, traveling, or handling daily situations, so my students can use English confidently in real life. I will create lesson plans specifically for you so we can meet all of your personal goals. I have experience teaching students of all levels and my background and teaching experience allow me to create lessons that are FUN, organized, effective, and easy to follow.

Hello! I’m Alison. I have a B.A. in Communications and TEFL/TESOL certifications. I teach students of all ages, online and in person. I love helping students feel confident and comfortable while learning English. My lessons are fun, easy to follow, and focused on your goals, so you can improve while enjoying the process. How I Teach: I use conversation, grammar, reading, and real-life examples in my lessons. I always make the lesson fit your needs, so you feel confident and motivated. A Typical Lesson: • Warm-up chat: Start speaking right away. • Review & practice: Go over what we learned before. • Main activity: Practice conversation, reading, writing, or listening, depending on your goal. • Recap & tips: Talk about what you learned and how to improve.
