About Bethany

My teaching approach to Piano is focused on flexibility, understanding, positivity, and integrity. I believe that every student has their own pace and style of learning, and I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs and goals. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced pianist, my goal is to provide a supportive and enjoyable environment where you feel confident and motivated. I focus on three main areas: performance, theory, and composition. In performance, I work with students on building technique, expression, and stage presence, ensuring they are well-prepared for recitals and performances. Music theory is an essential part of understanding how music works, so I integrate lessons on scales, chords, harmony, and rhythm. For composition, I encourage creativity, helping students learn how to write and arrange their own music. I use a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, ear training, and hands-on exercises, to help students develop both their technical skills and musical ear. Above all, I create a positive and respectful environment where learning is both fun and fulfilling.

About the lesson

I am a passionate Piano tutor with 5 years of experience, specializing in teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have successfully helped around 150 students develop their skills in performance, theory, and composition. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a personalized and supportive learning environment where each student can progress at their own pace. I believe in understanding the unique needs and goals of each student, adapting my lessons to ensure they remain both challenging and enjoyable.

I strive to make learning piano a fun and rewarding experience, integrating music theory with practical techniques to provide a well-rounded education. My goal is to help students build confidence, refine their technique, and express themselves through music.

Notable achievements include preparing students for music exams, recitals, and competitions, many of whom have gone on to achieve remarkable success in their musical pursuits. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced student, I am dedicated to guiding you towards your musical goals.
