About Julian

My teaching methodology is built on a foundation of compassion, creativity, and flexibility. I believe every student is unique, so I tailor my lessons to suit their individual learning styles, ensuring they feel supported and confident throughout their musical journey. Compassion plays a key role in my approach—I'm committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment where students feel comfortable exploring their potential. I incorporate real-life examples and case studies into lessons to help students connect theory with practice. This allows them to better understand how music applies to the world around them and enhances their learning experience. Creativity is at the heart of my teaching, encouraging students to experiment and express themselves through the piano, while also working on technique and theory. Flexibility is important, as I adapt my lessons to meet the changing needs of my students, whether it's preparing for exams or simply learning for fun. I also emphasise accountability, ensuring students stay motivated and take ownership of their progress. In addition to piano, I can teach related subjects like music theory and composition, providing a well-rounded educational experience.

About the lesson

With 3 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about sharing the joy of playing the piano with students of all ages, from school to college levels. My journey as a piano tutor has been incredibly rewarding, as I get to witness my students grow in their musical abilities and gain confidence in their skills. I believe in creating a personalised approach for each student, helping them not only master technical aspects of piano playing but also explore the creativity and expression that music brings. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students with varying musical backgrounds, and each lesson is an opportunity for me to inspire them to reach new heights. From preparing students for exams to helping beginners develop a love for music, my goal is to make learning enjoyable and fulfilling. Whether focusing on performance, theory, or composition, I am dedicated to guiding my students towards musical excellence, one note at a time. I'm excited to continue helping others unlock their full potential through the piano!
