About the lesson

My ways of working are constructed to guarantee that my students not only understand the content required to recite in the exams but are thoroughly prepared to do well in the final exams. Exam skills are essential to securing the top-grade answers - it’s not enough understanding the content. My main focus is to ensure that my students have a good coherent understanding of the concepts and ideas of a particular topic, before translating this to a series of exam questions. This structure will dominate the tutorial, making my students well equipped and confident to sit their final exams.

Perfect! Anisha has been extremely helpful over the duration i've had her. Despite not having lessons over a very long duration, i can still see a dramatic change in my ability within Sociology. Anisha is very helpful with going through content thoroughly, but also efficiently. I found that before i started tuition, my exam technique wasn't the best, but after a few lessons this was strengthened, due to Anisha's high quality annotated feedback of my work. Overall, i highly recommend Anisha to anyone taking Sociology as she has made a real difference in levels of confidence and ability.

Perfect! I’m incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I received from Anisha throughout my A-Level Sociology course.

She really helped me realise how important it is to include deeper analysis in my essays, which made a noticeable difference in the quality of my writing and understanding of the subject.

Anisha explained the content clearly and thoroughly, making even the more complex topics feel manageable. Her quick response time and the in-depth feedback she gave on my work were especially valuable. Her detailed marking helped me see exactly where and how to improve, and I always felt encouraged and supported.

Thanks to her dedication and teaching style, I gained a lot more confidence in my sociology skills.

Perfect! Anisha has been such an amazing tutor. I love the way she explains the content and then develops points further, pointing out links to make to ensure the top bands. She is very attentive to my strengths and weaknesses and her focus on exam technique has really boosted my essay writing skills. I feel as though I’ve come a long way in the few weeks I’ve received Anisha’s support and am able to write to an A grade standard with the content I’ve covered with her. I’d recommend Anisha to anyone who wants to boost their grade up, especially those wanting to reach A/A*. Im so glad I came across her!

Perfect! great tutor
Anisha did a fantastic 11th hour crash course of year 12 sociology A level (AQA) for my son for his end of year exam, from pretty much a standing start. She is well prepared, flexible, knowledgeable and very organised, and her input made all the difference to his confidence to sit the exam and the result that he achieved, which we were delighted with.

Anisha is a fantastic tutor! She tailors the tutoring sessions to the individuals needs and makes sure it’s an efficient method of recall for the pupil. For me, Anisha massively simplified the content and helped me wrap my head around harder concepts a lot easier than what was being taught at school. Having had other tutors for sociology before Anisha, I can truly say that no one else had helped me as much as Anisha has.
