About Dorian

I am someone who likes to explore the new challenges that the world offers us. Since I was little, I have loved numbers. Always looking to get out of my comfort zone, I am ready to experience new adventures. Sharing my knowledge is important to me because I love helping people and I am happy when I manage to make other people happy. I have always had this ease in understanding something and transmitting this knowledge. Seeing my students understand and succeed thanks to my explanations makes me satisfied.

About the lesson

I favor a practical and participatory approach. I explain the concepts with concrete numerical examples and I encourage my students to solve exercises themselves. For me, the key to learning is repeated practice of what might look like on the final exam. This method allows students to better understand and assimilate the concepts covered.

Typical course of a course:

Introduction and review: We begin by reviewing previous concepts to ensure they are well understood.
New concepts: Presentation of new concepts with numerical examples.
Practical exercises: The student actively participates by solving exercises under my supervision.
Correction and feedback: We correct the exercises together and I give detailed feedback to help the student improve.
Questions and clarifications: Finally, the student can ask any questions he or she has on the topics covered.
My specificities as a teacher:

Personalized approach: I adapt my lessons to the needs and level of each student.
Participatory method: Students are constantly involved and encouraged to practice.
Flexibility: I offer courses by videoconference or face-to-face at homestays in the provinces of Liège and Luxembourg.
Satisfaction guarantee: If students do not see progress in their grades after our sessions, I undertake to reimburse the courses.
