About Louis

Hey, I’m Louis! I’m currently studying accounting and finance in my first year at the university of Liverpool. I also mentor for children aged 8-17 whilst studying and I have a passion for helping young people specifically who are struggling with their subject and require more help!

As your dedicated private tutor, I am committed to providing a unique and effective learning experience for you. My teaching style is characterised by a blend of passion, adaptability, and a student-centred approach.

I believe that genuine enthusiasm for the subjects I teach is contagious. I am deeply passionate about the subjects I specialise in, and I convey this passion to my students. My goal is to ignite their curiosity, inspire a love for learning, and help them see the real-world applications of what they're studying.

Customised Learning:
No two students are alike, and I recognise the importance of tailoring my approach to each individual's needs and learning style. I take the time to assess my students' strengths, weaknesses, and goals, which allows me to create personalized lesson plans that maximize their potential.

Interactive and Engaging Lessons:
Learning should never be a passive experience. I incorporate interactive and engaging methods into my lessons, such as discussions, problem-solving activities, and hands-on exercises. These approaches not only make learning enjoyable but also enhance comprehension and retention of the material.

Clear Communication:
Effective communication is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I ensure that complex concepts are explained in a clear and understandable manner. I encourage open dialogue, where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification whenever needed.

Confidence is key to academic success. I aim not only to impart knowledge but also to boost my students' self-confidence. By nurturing their self-belief and providing a supportive learning environment, I empower them to tackle challenges with confidence.
