About Mithulon

I am a dedicated and reliable tutor who is passionate about helping students improve their maths skills and, most importantly, their confidence. As a first-year Accounting and Finance student with a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths, I have a strong understanding of the subject and know what it takes to succeed at this level.

I understand that many students feel unsure about maths, so I take a calm, patient, and supportive approach in every lesson. I focus on creating a professional but friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My lessons are well-structured and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on weaker areas first, explain concepts clearly, and regularly use exam-style questions and past papers to prepare students for real exam conditions. This helps build both skill and confidence over time.

I am committed to being punctual, organised, and fully prepared for every lesson. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them feel more confident and capable in maths overall.

About the lesson

I start by understanding each student and identifying the topics they feel least confident in. This helps me tailor lessons to focus on their weaker areas first, building confidence step by step.
I make sure lessons are engaging and enjoyable, as students learn best when they feel comfortable and motivated. I break down difficult concepts into simple steps, use clear explanations, and include plenty of practice to reinforce understanding. I also use real-life examples where possible to make maths feel more relatable.

An important part of my approach is regularly using past exam papers and exam-style questions. This helps students become familiar with exam scenarios, improve their time management, and understand how to apply their knowledge under pressure.
My teaching style is patient and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions without hesitation. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel confident to try, make mistakes, and improve.

Lessons typically last around 60 minutes and include reviewing weaker topics, learning or revising concepts and practising exam questions.

I am a first-year Accounting and Finance student with a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths, and my lessons are aimed at GCSE students of all abilities, especially those looking to build confidence and improve their exam performance.
