About Tharani
I studied Economics and Finance, then went on to do my masters in Accounting and Finance. During my time at university, I found that I enjoyed teaching the topics I learned to my classmates. After finishing university, I'd dedicated time weekly to teach my younger cousin who was studying at GCSE level. Being able to see her light up when she understood how to do a question really makes you feel like you are making an impact. I believe by making and learning from mistakes, you can improve a great amount. I want to keep making a change in students' lives and help them achieve their academic goals.

I teach using the approach where I ensure that the lessons are aligned with the topics studied in class. I encourage the student to find different ways to solve a problem before explaining the solution. A lesson is typically 90 minutes. I have tutored GCSE maths for around years now. I've worked through topic questions and exam papers with students to help them prepare for exams. I mainly teach GCSE maths however I am open to teaching A-Level.
