About Luma
I am an enthusiastic Spanish tutor with 13+ years of experience teaching school and college students. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, interactive, and connected to real-life situations. My goal is to help students become confident Spanish speakers while building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and communication.
My teaching style focuses on active learning. I use conversation practice, role-playing, interactive quizzes, storytelling, pronunciation exercises, vocabulary games, and visual learning materials to make lessons engaging. I also include cultural topics so students understand not only the language but also the traditions and daily life of Spanish-speaking countries.
Besides Spanish, I teach grammar, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, writing skills, listening practice, speaking fluency, pronunciation, conversational Spanish, travel Spanish, and exam preparation.
I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions freely, and practice consistently. Through personalised guidance and continuous feedback, I help students achieve their learning goals with confidence.

My teaching methodology focuses on building confidence through practical communication and personalised instruction. I believe every learner progresses differently, so I teach using Communication, Flexibility, Creativity, Accountability, and Integrity to support individual growth and long-term success.
Besides Spanish, I teach Spanish Grammar, Vocabulary Expansion, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, Listening Practice, Speaking Practice, Pronunciation, Conversational Spanish, Business Communication, Travel Spanish, Spanish Culture, and Exam Preparation. These subjects help students develop balanced language abilities.
Communication is an essential part of every lesson. Students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing through real-life activities that make learning natural and meaningful. Grammar is explained in simple language with practical examples.
Flexibility allows me to adapt my lessons according to each student's strengths and challenges. I provide extra practice, additional explanations, and regular revision whenever needed. Creativity keeps students engaged through videos, games, role plays, storytelling, and interactive exercises that improve confidence.
Accountability helps students stay committed by setting realistic goals, monitoring progress, and providing regular feedback. Integrity is reflected in my honest guidance and respectful teaching style. I aim to create a positive classroom where every student feels comfortable learning and communicating in Spanish.
